We are seeking an enthusiastic Renewable Energy Consultant to contribute to the success of our New Zealand Energy team. It is an exciting time to be in the Energy industry as governments (National and Local) and corporations strive to achieve net-zero carbon targets, and as renewable technologies becomes more affordable and advanced.
With an increasing and diverse portfolio of work we need someone who has a proven interest and record in this field, who is pro-active and enthusiastic, and who wants to help grow and develop the team. Flexibility and adaptability is also crucial in what is a rapidly changing and dynamic industry.
Your key responsibilities will include:

- Technical input and project management of renewable energy projects (various project technologies and types, primarily wind, solar and storage)
- Support for energy related initiative and projects being delivered by other sectors, and across the ANZ region
- Support for developing client relationships and preparing proposals
- Involvement in growth and delivery of new energy initiatives
- About you:

- Keen interest in renewable energy with relevant experience. Such experience may include generation, distribution, project development, project management, energy strategy development, energy auditing, or the like
- Degree qualified in a related discipline
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Motivated and a good collaborator, able to contribute and work in a team player setting
- Knowledge of the NZ electricity market would be an advantage
