As a Liver Transplant Recipient Coordinator you will be joining a supportive and dynamic team of nurse specialists. The Liver Transplant Recipient Co-ordinator is an advanced nursing practice role and is responsible for providing specialist nursing care and coordination of care to the liver transplant population across health care settings. Liver transplantation is a national service based at Auckland City Hospital.

You will be providing overall patient management ranging from independent patient assessment, coordination of liver transplants; education of patients and whānau, as well as the long term follow-up of patients to achieve best outcomes.

**This is a permanet -part time(0.3fte) role Monday to Friday, day shifts with an on-call component required.**

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**

You will preferably be a level 4 Registered Nurse with current registration, with specialty knowledge and practice expertise in Hepatology and /or transplantation. As well as having experience in patient management and teaching, a flexible and self-motivated approach is essential.
