**Workshop Supervisor**:
- Country/Region: Ne- City: AucklandWe are looking for a **Workshop Supervisor** to lead our **_Auckland Airport_** based Ground Services Equipment (GSE) team.
This role will be integral to ensuring we provide our client, Air New Zealand, with the level of service they expect.
Reporting to the Workshop Operations Manager, you will be a strong presence onsite ensuring productive, efficiency and HESQ is front and foremost.
**About the role**
The role of the Workshop Supervisor is to primarily supervise repair and maintenance tasks on Air New Zealand’s Ground Services Equipment (GSE) Assets.
The Shift Supervisor has additional responsibilities for the overall quality, safe execution and timely completion of all work performed in the workshop. The Shift Supervisor allocates work and supervises the duties of the workshop technicians and contractors.
This role will follow a 4 on 4 off shift (12hours) pattern affording you a 4 day weekend on a regular basis.
**About you**
- Relevant Trade Certificate
- Demonstrable experience in a similar leadership role
- Strong HSEQ knowledge
- Mechanical aptitude for workshop duties
- Collaborative mentality
**Key Responsibilities**
- Practice, develop and promote a Safe and Secure workshop environment
- Provide supportive leadership to the repairs and maintenance workforce, office staff and contractors working on site
- Comply with all relevant Quality Management policies, procedures and processes
- Allocate work to technicians and contractors
- Assist with on-the-job training and development of staff and contractors as required
- Actively participate in personal training and development to keep up to date with latest industry best practice, technologies and regulations
