**Job Description**:
We are currently seeking a reliable Stockyard Supervisor/leading hand to join our team in Rangiuru, Te Puke.

It is preferable that the Stockyard Supervisor/leading hand has experience working in a manufacturing environment, experience in computer skills and has worked with stock previously. This role requires the supervision of a team, and therefore team or departmental supervision experience would be favourable; however full training is available to those who can demonstrate they have the right attributes to be successful in this role.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

- Supervising the receiving of stock and relevant processes
- Management of animal welfare within the department
- Reconciling the stock numbers and daily process figures
- Communicating with other departments and key personnel to ensure efficient receipt and processing of stock
- Making sure that all compliance and regulatory requirements are strictly adhered to
- Training, developing and mentoring staff
- Continuously improving standards and efficiency
- Recording and processing documentation/departmental administration in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensuring and driving Health and Safety compliance within the department.
- Entering daily stock kill agenda’s accordingly into data system.
