Tower Nails & Beauty is a busy and well-equipped professional nail and beauty salon located in Tower Junction Village dedicated to providing exceptional services to our clients. We are looking for qualified and experienced nail and beauty technicians.

- Pay Rate of $25.00 per hour
- Minimum of 30 hours weekly guaranteed, maximum 45 hours

**What you will be doing**

As a Nail and Beauty Technician, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, precision, and attention to detail while delivering high-quality nail care services to our valued customers
- Interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner, conduct thorough consultations to understand their preferences and/or any specific concerns or conditions while advising them on relevant services/ products
- Performing & providing
- manicures and pedicures (nail art, artificial nails, nail repair, SNS etc.)
- hand and foot massages
- waxing and hair removal
- eyelash enhancements and beautification
- hair spa (training provided)
- advice on nail care and treatments
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation, equipment and tools between each client, following proper sterilization protocols, and ensuring work stations, tools, and equipment are properly disinfected, cleaned and organized.
- Maintaining inventory and reporting of supply needs to the manager.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to provide a seamless and integrated salon experience.
- Staying updated with the latest nail care products, techniques, trends, and industry developments to provide clients with relevant advice and recommendations.
- Complying with all health and safety standards
- Developing good rapport and maintaining relationships with clients
- Any other duties the employer reasonably may require employee to perform

**What we are looking for**
- Strong customer service and the ability to provide a personalised, relaxing experience
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality beauty and/or nail services
- Minimum 3-years relevant work experience Or relevant (level 4) qualification/certification
- Qualification/certification in Waxing, Hair Spa, Eyelash Extension or Nail Art is a plus but not essential.
- An awareness of health, safety and hygiene of a nail salon environment, especially when dealing with different chemicals would be an advantage
- Commitment to ongoing learning and development in the nail and beauty industry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to work 30 to 45 hours per week
- Flexible to work with a rotating roster 4-6 days per week, including weekends, and evenings when needed
- Applicants considered for this position must be a NZ citizen/resident or have a valid NZ work visa
