Join us in delivering a major infrastructure project as part of a
intercity fibre network
build. This complex project spans the diverse Australian landscapes, installing a national, sovereign fibre backbone. Our portion covers over 6000 km from Melbourne through Adelaide to Perth and back. This is a significant leadership role with career opportunity and an adventure for individuals who excel in
remote outback Australia.
Embrace the adventure of working across the Great Australian Bight on a 2&1 roster, living in your
own caravan in construction camps.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders- Monitor daily costs and work within target budgets to ensure project success- Manage a plough team to install the fibre in your section of work-
- Work with the engineering team to develop and maintain short-term progress- Calculate and monitor daily cost of resources and work to target budgets- Lead a culture of safety and productivity.
How you'll connect to the role:
- Proven experience as a Field Supervisor on large-scale infrastructure projects- Computer proficiency with exposure to CAD, Trimble, and ArcGIS- Ability to read and interpret cable plans and specifications- Experience in surveying and setting out- Previous experience in large-scale construction projects involving long-distance installation such as gas, power, water, and telecommunications is highly desirable- Ability to work remotely- Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan’s Living Safely Culture.
