As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Supply Chain Administrator to join our team in Palmerston North. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our supply chain operations and work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide efficient and professional support to our Supply Chain management team. You will oversee various functions, including Inwards Goods, Inventory, Quit-off, Master Data maintenance, and invoicing. Your role will involve ensuring these operations are carried out accurately, timely, and in line with organizational standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate with the team to create weekly staff and job allocation schedules
- Container management including facilitating drop off and pick up and associated administration tasks
- Receive and scan products using the SAP system, allocate products to appropriate warehouse storage locations, and maintain accurate records
- Support Supply Chain invoicing functions, including freight invoice checking, coding, scanning, and any other related tasks
- Provide backup and support for Inventory Specialist functions, including general inventory management, returns processing, and process improvements
- Assist with Master Data maintenance, collaborate with Brand Managers, and contribute to on-the-floor QA checks and audits
**To be successful you will need**:
- Proficiency in computer software, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (with a strong emphasis on Excel)
- Excellent attention to detail, and high accuracy in data entry
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
- Familiarity with inventory software systems, such as SAP (desirable)
- Previous experience in administration activities within a warehouse or office environment is advantageous
We are looking for a strong team player who is flexible in their work, a fast learner, and able to cope with a changing environment.
**Salary**: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends only
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
