Laboratory Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Analyst to join our team based at our Dunsandel site.

Last year we completed approximately 245,000 tests including both product and environmental testing. We use a range of both traditional and new rapid test methods including PCR.

The wage range is $27.76 - $29.66 per hour. This role is approximately 40 hours per week. Our Microbiology lab operates 7 days a week, this position’s working roster is 4 days on, 3 days off - 10-hour days.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- A Tertiary Qualification in Microbiology (or equivalent) is essential
- Experience working under ISO 17025 is essential.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Microbiology lab environment is essential
- Dairy industry experience is preferrable
- Previous experience as a Key Technical Person would be an advantage
- Proven ability to work under pressure and always meet deadlines in a multi-tasking environment
- Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player
