**Brian Perry Civil** is a leading and award-winning New Zealand contractor. As part of the overall Fletcher Building Group, we undertake a wide range of civil construction projects throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific with specialities including foundation and piling works.

Due to a growing forward workload, we are looking for a Site Engineer to join our Auckland based piling and foundations team.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer with a civil engineering qualification and at least two years post grad site or project based exposure within the contracting sector to continue to develop their experience with an organisation committed to the on-going development of their staff, combined with a sustainable forward workbook.

You will be involved in a range of projects with a focus on foundations, piling, anchoring and ground improvement. As such this role will provide you with strong exposure to this engineering sector which is in strong demand nationally.

We are looking for someone with experience in piling and ground improvement techniques and familiar with the plant and equipment associated with these disciplines. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills which will allow you to proactively supervise and monitor staff to deliver work on programme, within spec and budget.

You will have good planning skills and the ability to effectively deal with a range of site based challenges as a result of your ability to come up with innovative and cost effective solutions. Your commitment to ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety, environmental and quality management will be another strength. This role, in terms of career development, will lead towards the position of Project Engineer, and so this is something you will have you sights set on.
