**Trainee Speech-Language Therapist - Hands-On Experience with a 3-Year-Old (Speech Delay)**:
**Auckland, Auckland City, Mount Eden / Maungawhau**

$27 - $30 Hourly Invoicing

Contractor
- **Flexible Schedule - 2-4 sessions per week, ideal for students.**:

- **Supportive Learning Environment - Provides a comfortable space for learning.**
**We are seeking a **trainee or student speech-language therapist** who can come to our home **2 to 4 times a week** to **practice speech exercises** with our **3-year-old son**, who is experiencing speech delays.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engage in **play-based speech activities** designed to encourage language development.
- Implement **basic speech strategies** learned in your coursework.
- Observe and adapt to the child’s **engagement levels and communication needs**.
- Provide **regular, consistent sessions** (2-4 times a week) to support speech progress.
- Work in a **low-pressure, supportive setting**, focusing on encouraging speech development in a natural way.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- ** Currently studying Speech-Language Therapy** (or a related field).
- A **friendly, patient, and child-focused approach**.
- Availability to start **ASAP**, with sessions **2 to 4 times per week**.
- Interest in **early childhood language development**.
