Your Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Forklift Operator/Loader to join our operations team.

Based at our Christchurch, you will be an important part of our team ensuring the timely, efficient and safe handling of freight in order for the company to achieve their target delivery goals; on time and damage free.

What you’ll bring to this role

To be successful in this role, you could have the following experience:
As the Freight Operator, you will:

- Operate the forklift within the Christchurch branch
- Unload freight when required
- Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient manner
- Maintain good working relationships
- Communicate effectively within a team environment

About you:

- A strong health and safety focus
- OSH approved forklift certificate
- Prior long fork experience (preferred but not essential)
- An understanding of dangerous goods laws (preferred but not essential)
- Prior work experience in the freight industry (preferred but not essential)
- F Endorsement required
