**About the role**:
We’re looking for an experienced and strategically minded Programme Manager with commercial experience in divestment projects, who is available to lead the programme of work divesting our airfield power and lighting assets at airports across New Zealand.
This role will be responsible for driving business objectives and providing critical programme leadership to teams and project leads and overseeing the delivery and transition of our airfield power and lighting assets. You will also manage key stakeholder relationships and ensure relevant project control groups, executive leaders, and boards are kept up to date with progress.
While this role reports to Head of Procurement & Property, the role will work cross functionally across various business units and hold multiple touch points, particularly within the legal, technology, people and capability and finance business areas.
**About you**:
We are looking for an experienced commercial Manager who can hit the ground running and lead cross functional leads in managing this programme of work. Of course, it goes without saying that you are a natural leader, with strong stakeholder management skills and a natural ability to engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
This role requires leadership, resilience, and the ability to navigate our operational and governance landscapes across a wide range of moving work streams.
**In addition, you will have**:
- Proven experience working at a senior level and managing the development and delivery of complex, cross-functional projects, or programmes.
- Excellent knowledge of change management principles with sound business case development and approvals skills.
- Commercial acumen, ideally working in acquisition/divestment and negotiating sale and purchase agreements.
- A relevant tertiary qualification/degree or equivalent work experience demonstrated through previous positions held
