An opportunity has opened to join the Mainfreight Metro Christchurch family as a **Class 4 Flat Deck Owner Driver** servicing our local Christchurch region. The role will require someone with a good level of fitness and a can-do attitude with the opportunity to progress amongst the Mainfreight group.

**Becoming a Mainfreight Owner Driver could be for you**

**Day to day responsibilities**:

- Hubbing freight via our first class facilities, with our expert operations teams.
- Safe loading, securing, and unloading of freight.
- Managing the pick-up and delivery of freight, on time and damage free.
- Ensuring your truck is maintained in immaculate condition.
- Delight our customers every day.

**Requirements**:

- Current Class 4 Licence.
- Transport service Licence (TSL).
- OSH Forklift and Dangerous Goods Licences.
- Appropriate finance with the ability to purchase a brand-new vehicle.
- Excellent communication and immaculate personal presentation.

**Whilst these are ideal to have, should you only have some but the right attitude, we can look at options for you to join the team and can support you with a programme to become an Owner Driver in the future.
