**The Opportunity**
If you have a passion for modern pastry work, cake baking, chocolate work, and laminated doughs, this role provides a space for you to explore your passion in a supportive environment. The focus of the role will be on cakes, icings and deserts, experience baking wedding cakes and specialty desserts for catering functions is desired. This role will report to the Head Chef.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Prepare & bake from buns, cakes, biscuit, pastry goods, desserts & fillings, including glazing & decorating
- Manage online store product
- Ensure quality standards of raw materials & weighing ingredients
- Monitor oven temperatures & product appearance to determine baking times
- Coordinate the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning & cooling of batches of bread, rolls & pastry products
- Operate kitchen appliances used for rolling & molding dough
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment &premises in-line withoccupational health & safety regulations

**What's on offer**:

- Full-time permanent position, Tues - Sat, 6am-2pm (40 hrs p/w)
- $60-$70KPA dependent on experience

**Skills & Experience**:

- 3 years experience minimum as a Pastry Chef
- Experience baking & decorating wedding cakes & specialty desserts for catering/functions
