Our client is a tourism company, who operates a well renowned car rental network throughout New Zealand and Australia.

This is a Freelance / Contract role for a Full Stack Developer, where you will work a mix of being in-house and remote. You will be responsible for supporting and developing their existing system for the car rental fleet and booking management.

**What you will be doing on the daily**:

- Supporting technology infrastructure - Windows Azure, maintain virtual machines (DevOps)
- Adding new features to the existing system
- Building a new.Net Core Web API to replace the DNN Sharp API and Java API
- Troubleshooting issues with API requests/responses
- Building API integrations, and writing custom APIs
- Writing/updating documentation of our APIs to be used by third parties
- Finding the root of reported problems by reviewing source code Liaising with stakeholders/end users to provide support for the car rental system

**Key Tech Skills Required**:

- 3+ years of experience as a full stack (front and back end).NET web developer
- ASP.NET webforms
- C#
- Javascript
- HTML/CSS
- DotNetNuke (DNN) experience is desirable, but not essential
- DNN Sharp app builder experience a bonus
- Fluent in SQL with advanced skills in writing optimised queries and stored procedures, creating optimised views from various tables
- Web APIs (.NET)
- Experienced in working with APIs and integrations, e.g. Xero
- DevOps experience, e.g.
- Managing Windows web servers
- Managing services in Azure portal
- Backups and redundancy
- Security and firewalls
- Securing systems with Cloudflare Access and SSO
- Knowledge of domain names and DNS management (desirable, but not essential)
- Experience with source control and CI/CD pipelines Motivated problem solver with a ‘can do’ attitude
