**The opportunity**:

- We are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated BI Specialist who has who has multiple years’ experience operating in a best practice Power BI environment. Ideally this person would act as the Power BI lead within the business, advising on best practice approach across all projects and upskilling others within the business_

**The role**:

- Design, oversee, develop, and implement Power BI initiaitives and projects within our team and for our clients.
- Facilitate and champion the design, development, and implementation of standards for BI data architecture, data governance, data quality, and data warehousing.
- Facilitate adoption of updates and best practice Power BI within the organisation
- Train and upskill other BI developers, users and support staff
- Liaise with business stakeholders users effectively to gather requirements and present dashboards back to business users.

**Knowledge and skills**:

- Experience in Power BI, Power Query, DAX
- Proven track record of dashboard design and building Power BI reports
- Experience working with wide variety of data formats including interfacing with APIs, Geospatial data
- Ability to communicate technical information
- Flexible and adaptable attitude
- Experience with cloud computing in Azure or AWS
