Expressions of Interest are being sought for the interRAI Leadership Advisory Board.

The role of the interRAI Leadership Advisory Board (iLAB) is to ensure / oversee successful implementation and use of interRAI assessment tools and associated data in Aotearoa New Zealand. iLAB engages with the interRAI network and provides strategic advice to interRAI New Zealand and Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora.

iLAB commits to act in accordance with the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi, ensure that the independent views of members are given due weight and consideration, enable fair and full participation of members and regularly review its own performance against the Work Plan.

The board comprises a maximum of seven members, including the Chair. It is one of two key components of the interRAI advisory ecosystem liaising closely with a network of interRAI stakeholders. These two groups work collaboratively to provide strategic guidance to interRAI New Zealand.

Appointments will be for a term of up to three years (or up to a maximum total period of six years if re-appointed).

You will be someone who is able to work collaboratively with the interRAI network, board colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure successful dissemination of evidence based interRAI outcomes with key stakeholders, including but not limited to the aged residential care and home and community support sectors, consumer groups, regions and districts and Health New Zealand.

Most importantly, you will have a commitment to work in the best interests of interRAI services and the interRAI advisory ecosystem. You will have experience in at least one of the boards four focus areas:

- Service improvement and demand
- Clinical excellence
- Technology and data governance
- Responsiveness to Māori
