Our current research projects focus on utilising NZ’s population-wide administrative database (the Integrated Data Infrastructure) - which houses microdata about people and households, sourced from government agencies, as well as Stats NZ surveys.

The key fields of interest include public economics; health education and labour economics; demography; and urban economics.
- PhD in Economics (or near completion)
- Strong empirical skills and experience using large linked administrative datasets and/or large-scale surveys
- Experience and interest in labour/health/education/urban related topics
- Highly competent using econometric software, such as Stata, R, etc.
