Reliability,excellent time management, self motivation and the ability to work in a team environment are essential. You must have good personal presentation and a commitment in assisting to produce quality products.
Your duties will involve all aspects of Baking within the department; you must also be familiar with the appropriate food safety and hygiene requirements applicable when working with food.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Baking,Packing, labelling and presenting bakery products to the agreed standards
- Kneading,moulding, pastry goods, glazing buns, decorating cakes and preparing pastryfillings
- Ensuring core range of products available at all times
- Merchandising and ticket products as directed
- Keeping packing area tidy and clean
- Maintaining the display area of the bakery to the highest standards including cleanlinessand range.
