**_ Te mahi / The role_**

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Development Services team and contribute to software development initiatives and projects at a senior level.

In this role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver optimal, standardised, and sustainable software solutions that meet the organisation’s needs.

Your responsibilities will include design, development, maintenance, deployment, documentation, and monitoring of software throughout its lifecycle. You will focus on creating well-engineered and reliable software outcomes.

- Key skills for this position include:

- Proficiency in enterprise software development design patterns and best practices.
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms for software development.
- Qualifications or certifications in relevant disciplines related to the role.
- Demonstrated ability to translate requirements into client-centric business solutions.
- Proven experience and knowledge of best practices in change and release management processes.
- Strong technical and functional documentation skills.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
