**The role/Te mahi**

As a Finance Associate, you will provide expert financial advice, analysis and day-to-day support to executives and managers that strengthen the business units finances and support effective decision making.

This role is part of the central Finance Advisory team of 50 staff and reports to the Finance Manager.

**We are looking for an individual with experience in**:
Providing financial advisory services, including month end ac financial reporting, analysis and co financial forecasting and b financial modelling and analysis.

Stakeholder engagement.

Giving financial advice and guidance to non-finance senior managers.

Recognised qualification(s) appropriate to the role and considerable relevant finance experience are essential for the role.

A tertiary level qualification in an accounting/finance discipline is preferred.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours week), permanent position, located in Dunedin.

The salary level for this role is Level 6 (Appointments range $70,602 to $76,668. Top of Range $82,849).
