**About the role**:
As a UI/ UX Designer, you will be responsible for the creation of elegant and easy-to-use design solutions for MEGA’s website, desktop, and mobile apps. Reporting to the Design and Content Manager in NZ, you’ll make an impact by:

- Collaborating with a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Engineers, Content Writers, and other Designers
- Tackling complex problems by crafting intuitive design solutions
- Presenting your work as you participate in design reviews and feedback sessions
- Maintaining and developing several existing design systems and component libraries using Figma, ensuring we are efficiently building consistent experiences across our product suite
- Interfacing with users to conduct design research, as required

Please note that we run an asynchronous, hybrid-remote model at MEGA, and this role may require early-morning or late-night availability as you work alongside staff in different time zones.

**About you**:
You also have:

- Three or more years of commercial design experience
- Experience in building and maintaining design systems
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- Passion for all aspects of interactive design
- A proven track record of delivering consistent, high-quality work on time and in accordance with the design brief
- Knowledge of current design software, i.e. Figma, Sketch, InVision
- Preferably, experience in mobile app design
- Preferably, had exposure to HTML, CSS, and associated technologies
