Waste Management have recently secured a new food waste collection contract for the Auckland region, and we now require a number of Class 2 Drivers.

You will be operating a brand-new, custom-built Class 2 truck. All training will be provided in the operation of these trucks.

**What we offer**:

- Hourly rate of $30 per hour
- Minimum 40 hours per week with additional hours available
- Permanent Full time
- Monday - Friday with occational Saturdays (Rostered)
- Location: Auckland
- Immediate start available

**About the role**

Our drivers are responsible for operating a vehicle and equipment on board to ensure a safe and timely collection of our service. You need to be customer focused and enjoy interacting with various people.

This role requires the driver to be in and out of the cab lifting and emptying waste collection bins so you will need to be physically fit and not afraid of a bit of lifting.

You’ll already know the importance of health and safety in the workplace, and you’ll champion our culture of making sure everyone gets home safely.

**We’ll also need you to have**:

- A clean and up-to-date Class 2 New Zealand driver’s licence
