**Ngā kawenga | About the role**

The EPMO provides a centralized function that supports investment management, portfolio governance, best practice guidance, tools, and templates for the successful delivery of change into the business.

As the Senior Investment Adviser, you will sit within the EPMO and will support the Investment & Benefits Lead with delivering effective investment operations within the department, enabling the right investment choices to be made that align with the organisational strategies and priorities. This will involve assessing investments as to how they deliver value relative to the resources expended.

You will provide ongoing development and reporting of investment performance metrics to support Investment Committee decisions and perform regular review of the Departments Investment Management documentation.

To be successful in this role you will need:

- An understanding of investment management and governance frameworks, including Treasury's investment framework, Better Business Cases and the ICR process.
- Strong systems thinking and evaluation approach.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability.
- The ability to establish and maintain constructive relationships with a range of customers and key stakeholders
- Coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to share your knowledge and experience across the team, and with various stakeholders
- Solid performance reporting experience (e.g. financial, status, benefits and change).

**Utu ā-tau | Salary**

The midpoint of the salary range is $118,998 and the full range (85%-120%) is $ $101,148- $142,798. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
