Theatre Nurses

Our client is the only private hospital in Tauranga, with seven theatres, one endoscopy suite and expanded services on the way. They offer a variety of surgical procedures to the wider Bay of Plenty community. As a Registered Nurse working in Theatre ? either as a scrub nurse, circulating nurse or anaesthetic nurse, you?ll ultimately be providing safe, efficient and quality patient centred care. Whilst orthopaedic surgery is common, you will also work across a variety of surgical specialties, with different surgeons and teams.

**On offer is**:
Family friendly shifts ? morning, afternoon and day lists (no nights, maybe one or 2 Saturdays a year). No on call.
There are Consultants only in this hospital. No Registrars or House Surgeons which means nurses have the opportunity to deal directly with the Surgeon/Anaesthetist and step up and develop surgical assistance skills. If you are keen and demonstrate commitment, you will be encouraged and supported to do further study ? as a First Surgical Assist or a Registered Nurse Anaesthetic Assist.
