**About the job**:
Our extremely busy, family-friendly Columbus Coffee Albany café is on the lookout for an experienced leader with strong industry knowledge and a true passion for great coffee and food. This is a hands-on, daylight hours management role, perfect for someone who thrives in a high-volume café and loves leading from the front. You’ll be responsible for motivating, mentoring, and guiding a dedicated team while ensuring a top-tier customer experience.

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Proven café or restaurant management experience (minimum 2 years) in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team of 15+
- Excellent understanding of Food Control Plans, Health & Safety, and compliance requirements
- A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience
- Strong operational skills, including rostering, stock control, and cost management
- Marketing and franchise experience would be advantageous
- A Duty Manager Licence and knowledge of the Liquor Act would be a plus
- You would be a local North Shore resident likely residing in one of the following areas: Albany, Rosedale, Pinehill, Oteha, Fairview Heights, Northcross, Browns Bay, Rothesay Bay, Mairangi Bay, Torbay, Long Bay, Campbells Bay, Murrays Bay, Greenhithe, Unsworth Heights, Glenfield, Totara Vale, Forrest Hill, Milford, Castor Bay, Takapuna, Hillcrest, Sunnynook, Redvale, Paremoremo, Coatesville, and Lucas Heights.
