**THE OPPORTUNITY**

This is an exciting time to join Dematic, as a hands-on customer focused **Maintenance Technician **with a focus on **Industrial Electrician / Automation **. You will access world leading solutions across large distribution centres, warehouses and manufacturing operations.

Don’t delay, join our amazing team and deliver support to key customers, by servicing client's equipment in accordance with project and service agreements and identifying opportunities for improvement in the manufacture or performance of systems and products.

Adhering to and promoting safety standards and work practices for colleagues and customers alike is a vital component of the role. Experience in troubleshooting/problem solving equipment faults is essential to ensuring high quality service across key **Palmerston North **sites.

Working Monday to Friday Day Shift with the participation in an **on-call roster **and one or two Saturdays per month, will provide excellent overtime opportunities.

**Tasks and Qualifications**:
**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- Full NZ Electrical License
- Ability to work shifts
- Experience in automation (conveyors), wrapping machines and material handling equipment an advantage
- Experience in computerised maintenance systems
- PLC experience/exposure in S7 and Scada WIN CC an advantage
- Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships with the customer.
