This role is central to the smooth and efficient running of the Zoo Shop, ensuring products are received, checked, priced, stored, and organised with accuracy and care. You’ll also assist with packing and shipping online orders, supporting regular stocktakes, and working closely with the Visitor Experience & Engagement team to keep the shop well-stocked and ready to deliver an exceptional visitor experience. Key strengths include strong attention to detail, good organisation, and the ability to manage time and tasks effectively. You’ll be comfortable working independently, while also contributing positively to a team. A proactive mindset, good communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 25kg are important, along with the flexibility to manage multiple tasks and identify when support is needed.- Qualifications & Experience-
- NCEA Level 1 (minimum requirement)
- A current NZ driver’s licence is preferred
- Some experience in retail or storeroom operations ideal for this entry-level role-
