Busy indian restaruant requires an experienced bar manager

Day to day duties required but are not limited to:

- Managing the business aspects of the bar, such as taking inventory and reordering
supplies, managing under the budgets, and complying with the goals set by the
Operation Manager and/or the Restaurant Manager.
- Ensuring to look smart and clean at all time with the correct uniform as well as your
staff
- Ensuring to be on time for your shift or communicating with the management team
if a particular situation occurs as well as your staff.
- Correctly clocking in and out using deputy
Ensuring the staff is working as per rostered and have their break accordingly as well
as the internal policy followed on the same.
- Ensuring to have enough staff everyday rostered or taking the appropriate measures
to remedy with the Restaurant Manager approval
- Keeping accuracy in the invoices.
- Approving invoices and ensuring the prices are correct.
- Hiring and training staff to provide excellent service to patrons.
- Creating effective schedules and quickly resolving conflicts to ensure that bar is well

staffed during peak hours in relation with the Restaurant Manager.
- Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls.
- Working with diverse personalities both on the staff and patrons.
- Planning and taking part in promotional events.
- Diffusing tense situations between patrons or staff members to prevent possible safety

or legal issues, ejecting unruly persons, if needed.
- Maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere for patrons.
- Updated the back-office system when needed with recipes, new items, stocktake etc.
- Making a stocktake report to higher management on a fortnightly basis explaining

variances and others.
- Informing the customer about surcharges on CC and Paywave.
- Asking the customer about their experience and pushing for online reviews
- Creating new drinks menus (Cocktail etc.) when asked by the higher management
- Doing cash up if needs be as well as sending the nightly report.

Payrate - Min $30/hr to Max $32/hr

Guaranteed hours of work per week: Minimum 35 hours, permanent full-time

Requirements for job:

- Experience required for atleast 2 years
- Restaurant or bar management experience preferred
- LCQ / Manager certificate
- Be physically fit
- Thrives underpressure in a high-voume environment
- Neat and tidy appearance
- Pleasent with people
- Flexible to work daily split shifts (Lunch & Dinner) and weekends as per weekly rosters
