We are currently seeking a **Senior Systems Engineer **for a full-time permanent role in **New Plymouth **. The role involves the design, implementation, and support of ICT infrastructure solutions, both on-premises and cloud-based, for enterprise customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement and support Microsoft Server OS, Desktop OS, and cloud services.
- Provide data centre hardware support (e.g., Cisco, HP, DELL, NetApp).
- Troubleshoot technical faults and resolve problems.
- Implement new or enhanced systems, technology, or infrastructure.
- Monitor and report on infrastructure systems (e.g., backups).
- Update documentation regularly and ensure system capacity is sufficient.
- Log activities accurately and on time.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- One major certification (e.g., MSP, MCSE, CNE, VCP, Cisco Certification).
- Additional vendor certifications are preferred.

**Experience and Skills**:

- Experience in medium to large-scale projects.
- Expertise with Microsoft OS, desktop, and cloud services (Office365, Azure, AWS).
- Strong understanding of connections between desktop, server, and network environments.
- Proficiency in:

- Core Microsoft technologies (AD, DNS, DHCP, Printing).
- Virtualization tools (VMWare, Hyper-V).
- Storage technologies (SAN, DAS, NAS).
- Data protection tools (Veeam, Commvault, ASR, etc.).
- Platform monitoring tools (SCCM, SCOM).
- Windows deployment, patching, and PowerShell scripting.

**Soft Skills**:

- Confidence in client engagement and solution recommendations.
- Willingness to learn and develop further.
