**About the role**
As their Food Technologist you’ll play a key role in achieving the company’s vision, taking full accountability for development and improvement activities and will become their in-house expert. You are all over product innovation, packaging platforms, processing and technology and what you don’t know you question and find out.
You will be working within a wider team of technologists while also providing support to not only your team but also production and marketing to meet their objectives. You will understand the need to roll your sleeves up and help others out when needed.
**Some key responsibilities in the role include**:
- Passion for food and developing new products (specifically meat and meat products)
- Idea generator for new opportunities
- Able to analyse and problem solve
- Ability to influence
- Developing new products from idea into market
- Developing new products in conjunction with all internal stakeholders
- Ensure all trials are fitted into production with mínimal disruption. Liaise with Operations to ensure machine time, staff and QA are available for trials and they can be accommodated with production requirements
- Complete trials for process and product improvements
- Formulation/ recipe development and management as well as artwork approval
