**We have vacancies for 2 Telecommunication Technicians who would be working in Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui.**

We specialize in the installation, maintenance and repairing electronic communications equipment in telecommunications networks and internet supply systems.

We are currently seeking Telecommunication Technicians to join us.

Below skills and training will be preferred but we can train the right person.
- WTC1, WTC3, First aid certificate, Level 1 Traffic controller.

Your job duties may include but are not limited to the following:

- Fibre and cable laying from boundary to premises.
- Diagnostics of faults in cabling and/or in equipment.
- Performs site surveys.
- Assesses and documenting current site network configuration and user requirements.
- Diagnosing and resolving network and system faults to ensure optimal networking functionality.
- Setting up the LAN for customer's equipment to the industry specifications.
- Accurately test fibre (multi-mode and single mode) cable to required certification
- Integrating and configuring telecommunication devices and tools to industry standards.
- Connects fibre optic cables to networking outlets and between network outlets.
- underground cabling for residential customer's, consenting work.
- Other tasks assigned by the employer.
- Complying with health and safety.

You will be working in the Manawatu-Wanganui area. We require you to work a guaranteed minimum hours of 30. We may require you to work up to 40 hours. The role is full-time permanent. We operate Monday to Friday between 8:30 am to 5pm. We offer a wage range of $23.15 to $30.

We may require you to criminal history check.

**Salary**: Up to $29.66 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Overtime pay

- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Pay: $29.66 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
