**About the Auckland System Management (ASM) Alliance**

The ASM is an alliance between HEB Construction, Fulton Hogan and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency to operate and maintain Auckland's motorway network. The Alliance is expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as well as suppliers to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers using the Auckland transport system. Estimated project dates are from July 2019 to June 2028.

**That's where you come in**:
We are looking for a Stormwater Delivery Technician to work within the Stormwater Delivery Team. This role is to support the planning, delivery, and reporting of the Stormwater Maintenance Programme. The focus of this role is to ensure planned activities are meeting Level of Service whilst also improving asset functionality by delivering the right outcomes at the right time.

The maintenance programme includes Cyclic, Reactive and Periodic activities for all 3 Stormwater Asset Types (T1 - Collection and Conveyance, T2 - Culvert Systems, T3 - Stormwater Treatment Assets/Devices). The role is multi-disciplinary and multifunctional across all the ASM Stormwater Delivery Functions, including site work (day and night) and working with the asset management team to identify and resolve issues and lead change in stormwater asset operations.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn how Stormwater Assets are maintained, operated, and renewed, broadening your engineering knowledge and skills. This role will be based at the ASM office in Ellerslie.

**About You**:

- Proven experience 2+ years, working within similar administration or coordination roles; or Graduate qualification in Engineering.
- Background knowledge of Water/Environmental principles
- Experience with Planning Tool, RAMM and Asset Management Systems
- Excellent people skills and experience in the maintenance industry preferable.
- Proven problem-solving experience/skills including working well under pressure
- Consistently demonstrates a can-do approach to work
- Ability to work Night Shift(s) as per job requirements (Sun-Thurs Night)
- Physically capable to conduct Culvert System Inspections
- Organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
- Able to understand and work from Network/Electrical and As-Built drawings
- Computer and IT skills such as excel, pdf mark up, word and project
- Full NZ Class 1 Drivers licence

**What you will be doing**:

- Planning of all activities in the Maintenance Programme for all Stormwater Asset Types as per Level of Service and Consent conditions.
- Programming of activities on Planning Tool including creating and updating of closure plans
- Risk identification of planned activities and facilitating discussions to ensure adequate planning
- Maintain up to date communication with stakeholders and internal communications team to ensure a high focus on keeping customers informed
- Ensure maintenance work information has complete scope of work, including environmental, health and safety, and quality requirements.
- Ensure all contractual reporting deadlines are met by processing data in a timely and accurate manner
- Regular site inspections (day and night) ensuring works are carried out safely
- Gives feedback to team on quality and timeliness of work in a constructive manner.
- Administration of the monthly external Cyclic Activity Inspection, Maintenance and Reporting
- Lead Culvert System Condition and Performance Inspections
- Identify when maintenance activities are not being delivered, and work with the Stormwater Delivery Engineer to ensure these are complete.
- Actively engaging with the wider team to identify, develop and implement innovations and saving.
- Work with the wider Stormwater Team in all Alloy Functions (Asset Audit, Asset Sheet and Inspection Sheet Upload)
