Relex Technical Senior Consultant

Duco Consulatancy Limited provides Cloud consulting services to clients in New Zealand and Australia and the US.

Assignments are often managed on a multi-disciplinary basis utilising the skills and experience of advisors from diverse industry knowledge and skill sets. There is an expectation that individuals can work outside their service area and across the wider Advisory business should the need arise.
- Key accountabilities:

- Minimum 5 years of working with Relex Applications.
- Extensive experience in delivering Retail products with focus on Support, Solutioning and Integrations
- Involved/consulted in all work, project or service, that involves changes to the business logic
- Will liaise (to differing extents) with central best practice team, and/or Product teams to ensure stability of implementations and business logic design
- Act as a system integration specialist between RELEX and customer IT systems
- Investigate complex technical issues for our customers and provide solutions
- Attend or lead technical discussions with service customers
- Provide technical solutions for SaaS related services
- Coordinate and delegate technical tasks for multiple service customers
- Introduce and develop the best practices for continued success
- Act as a technical advisor in upsell related implementation projects
- May participate in sales process as a technical specialist, or improve and develop internal tools
- Own the configuration plan, responsible for feeding that into the project plan, giving time estimates, and escalating when the build is not on track
- Responsible for all business logic design & creation, including some UI metric config
- Responsible for optimizing model outputs e.g. forecast accuracy
- You will analyze and resolve supply chain related issues our customers and colleagues are facing by using RELEX’s leading-edge technology
- You will provide consulting and support to customers on developing their RELEX system
- You will ensure and support high-quality product development by conducting acceptance testing
- You will conduct analyses and investigations on ad-hoc basis for different internal stakeholders
- Providing software support for global customers facing issues in their production environments
- Writing and maintaining a knowledge base of instructions on how to solve issues for the 1st level of support

- Effectively manage team and knowledge sharing to the team.
- Good Understanding of the flow between Retail Applications and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of collaboratively working with technical/Legacy/Integration team.
- Capable of working in a fast pace and dynamic working environment.
- Participate in client meetings to communicate status or give demos.
- work effectively individually and with team members toward customer satisfaction and success.
- Frequently attend and contribute to regular project team meetings involving local and remote team members (which may be outside normal office hours) to provide progress updates, discuss issues or challenges, with the objective to ensure the successful outcomes of project assignments.
- Build solution design on oracle during pre-sales and Delivery using excellent functional knowledge in Oracle Retail Cloud & understanding of business pain points
- Understand the big picture and develop solutions
- Ability to connect the dots across processes with strong knowledge of Oracle analytics and functional modules capabilities (mainly Retail)
- Engage through process knowledge and advisory services.
- Kick-start engagements with the right team Responding to RFI / RFP and facilitating the sales process, resulting in successful leads & winning proposals. This will include
