- Do you want to join a GOOD crew and use your drainlaying skills and experience? At Goodman Contractors we specialise in civil construction. We need a GOOD experienced Drainlayer for a truckload of contracts including large projects and local subdivisions.

Our ideal applicant will have:

- Proven skills and 2-3 years’ experience
- Experience working with general drainage: sub-divisional through to box culvert installation, civil construction and associated concrete and plaster work
- Drain laying qualifications (preferred but not essential) NZ Certificate Infrastructure or NZ Certificate in Pipelaying. We would consider someone with plenty of experience who is working toward a qualification
- Experience operating excavators and wheeled loaders
- Class 2, WTR Licence.

And will be able to:

- Demonstrate operator experience
- Work well in a team
- Work hard and be prepared to jump in and help your mates, 5 days a week expected with additional work available
- Perform heavy labouring - use of plate compactor, shovel, hand tools & plastering
- Work and withstand weather conditions
- Pass a drug test and medical.

Applicants for this position must have NZ or Australian residency. Applicants must be able to pass a drug test and Pre-Employment Medical test.
