The programme, which started in the United Kingdom in the 1990s, comes under the auspices of Children's University Australasia and Africa, and at the University is within the portfolio of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Students and Global Engagement.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Programme Manager to strengthen and grow the Wānanga Nohinohi Te Kunenga Children's University Massey programme across our regions. Children's University is a programme that aims to foster a love of life-long learning and raise the aspirations of tamariki to fulfil their potential. We are committed to creating a level playing field of opportunity and opening up access for children of all backgrounds and work closely with kura and learning destinations to achieve this.
About you - Ko koe tēnei
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- Management experience in an educational setting
- Proven experience in setting-up new programmes or business functions
- Stakeholder management experience, including identifying and working with sponsors and funders
- Experience working and networking with schools, tamariki, and a diverse range of community groups

This is a permanent, full-time position located at either our Auckland or Palmerston North Campus's. It will require domestic travel and flexibility to work outside of hours at times for key events.
