ABI Community Services has an opportunity for an Occupational/Physio Therapist with experience in the provision of specializedequipment and wheelchairs. ABI are a leader in the field of brain injury rehabilitation in NZ and an ACC accredited provider of community-basedrehabilitation, assessment and equipment provision for people with a range of conditions. We have a strong client-centeredand family/whnau focus.

Key tasks include community-based assessment and provision of equipment to support clients with complex needs, along with holistic assessment of functional/rehab needs. Types of equipment assessed for includetoileting equipment, beds and mattresses, sleeping and positioning equipment, wheelchairs, modified and adaptive equipment.

Our clinicians work in the community setting across the Auckland region, and are supported by a collaborative, friendly, inter-disciplinary team environment. We can offer you excellent opportunities for professional development, and the option to experience working across different areas of ABI Rehabilitation.

The successful applicant will have a Bachelor of Health Science-Occupational/Physio Therapy (or equivalent), a current NZ annual practicing certificate, Level 1 and 2 seating qualifications and a full DriversLicense. A minimum of three years experience, with previous work in a community setting is preferred.
