Do you have warehousing experience? Dealing with inwards goods, pick packing, using a forklift and helping with stock/inventory? We are looking for a Store Person to fill a valuable role at our Hotel based in Mt Cook, Canterbury, New Zealand’s South Island.

Our resort style hotel specializes in hospitality, and we are looking for someone who will take on a job and own it.

If you can work independently, have inwards goods experience and a great eye for detail this may suit you.

**As a Store Person/ Forklift Operator you will**:
In this role you will be faced with a variety of tasks and no two days will ever be the same You will use your planning and organizational skills, be a self-starter and able to work on your own and be able to change as the work requirements change.
- Receive and unpack incoming goods.
- Pick pack products for outgoing transfers to all internal departments.
- Pick pack raw ingredients for the food & beverage production.
- Keep track of stock and assist with stock-takes.
- Unload containers of new product arriving
- Check the quality and quantity of goods arriving.
- Use a forklift to move stock around the stores and extended property.

**What do we need from you?**
- Have an eye for detail and be good with numbers.
- Be completely aware and understand FIFO/ HACCP procedures associated with perishable products.
- Be able to work independently and make decisions.
- Prioritize workload to meet truck arrivals and outwards orders.
- Have a forklift license and previous stores experience.
