As Senior Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor, you'll be at the forefront of developing and delivering effective health, safety and wellbeing initiatives. You'll be the go-to expert for your team and colleagues, leading projects, enhancing systems and mentoring others to strengthen our approach to HSW.

Key responsibilities
Lead and drive continuous improvements in health, safety and wellbeing management systems.
Provide mentorship to advisors in the team, empowering them to grow in their roles and support health and safety reps and management to increase knowledge and confidence.
Offer expert advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships.
Oversee key projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery and compliance.
Help create and implement robust hazard and risk management practices.

Who we're looking for
**You will ideally bring**:
4+ years of experience working across health and safety functions, with a deep understanding of systems, risk management and reporting.
Proven project management experience.
A pragmatic approach to problem solving with the ability to navigate complex situations and manage multiple priorities.
Coaching and mentoring skills with a passion for developing others.
Excellent relationship building and communication skills with the ability to tailor your communication style to suit various audiences.
A self-motivated professional with advanced time management, planning and organisational skills.

Before you apply
Working within our unique environment means we have to ensure you're eligible for employment.
**You must**:
Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 years
OR
Hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years
Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance
Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.
The appointment range for this position is $103,009 - $109,876.
