**The Role**

The purpose of this role is to manage the end to end Accounts Payable function, by providing accurate processing, timely reconciliation and payment to suppliers, both locally and overseas. You will support cash flow, assist with month-end requirements along with relevant review and analysis. Part of the role also includes processing the weekly payroll for approximately 60 staff.
Key Duties:
- Daily reconciliation of NZD and FX bank accounts
- Set up suppliers in ERP, with confirmation of trade terms
- Processing of invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations for local and foreign accounts
- Provide cash-flow forecasting, understanding of foreign exchange requirements
- Month-end review of P&L expenditure, alongside month end journals and reconciliations
- Preparation and filing of local tax compliance requirements.
Payroll Duties:
- Administration of payroll systems; employee additions, terminations, system updates, and ensuring records are up to date
- Ensuring leave forms and timesheets are accurately entered
- Process payroll journals to the correct cost centres
- Prepare PAYE returns and payments.
This business operates in a fast-paced, changing environment and you will need to be ok with having multiple things going on at any one time. You’ll have the confidence and communication skills to walk around the business to collect or share the information needed to keep things moving.
**So who are you and what is your profile**
You will have proven experience performing in an end to end payable role, with current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws. Experience with D365 is preferable. You must have excellent attention to detail and a solid ability to multitask. As you will be supporting both suppliers and internal teams, exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
