Line Mechanic Supervisor

This role reports to the Field Operations Manager and will play a key operational role in the delivery of our field services within the Waitaki area, and further afield.

They will have primary day-to-day responsibility for providing leadership, mentoring and support to their team of line mechanics, delivering maintenance and construction programmes in a way that achieves the highest level of health and safety performance, maximises productivity and efficiency, and which meets required technical and quality standards.

**T**he successful applicant must have**:

- Good knowledge of construction and maintenance of overhead distribution systems up to and including 66kV
- Good knowledge of construction and maintenance of underground distribution systems up to an including 33kV
- A working knowledge of substation equipment preferred but not essential
- A practical understanding of construction techniques
- Experience with computers and mobile technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous leadership experience in a crew structure
