We are delivering some of the countries most iconic water projects and providing outstanding engineering solutions to our clients, embracing sustainable solutions which demonstrate social value for Aotearoa. We are seeking an **Associate Mechanical Engineer **to join our growing team in Auckland, to assist us with project delivery, and support us in achieving our water infrastructure section strategy. We have an enthusiastic and technically proficient team for you to join, and grow alongside. **Here’s What You’ll Need**: Qualifications**: To be successful in this role you should have: - A tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering - Strong previous demonstrable experience within water infrastructure - Attention to detail and eagerness to learn - Strong technical knowledge of piping design, AutoPIPE experience beneficial - Strong excel spreadsheet skills would be beneficial - Hydraulic design and pump selection would be beneficial - Some AutoCAD capability would be beneficial - Membership of ENZ or equivalent is beneficial - Chartered Professional Engineer or equivalent status is beneficial. **Why Jacobs** At Jacobs we offer rewarding careers with ongoing development opportunities, flexible working arrangements and a culture that is collaborative and inclusive.
