**This role can be located in either Auckland or Wellington.**
**You will have the opportunity to**
- Have overall responsibility for developing and executing the annual brand strategy for Z across both consumer and business including planning and implementing the communications objectives, activities and budgets, review and implementation of learnings.
- Be part of a brand that’s in the business of getting out of the petrol business - this is your chance to shape what Z means now and into the future.
- Deliver the roadmap objectives and campaign targets to fulfil Z’s strategic ambition of being a world class brand that’s always “for NZ”.
- Lead a team of 6 talented and capable marketers and provide leadership across the wider marketing team and business from either Auckland or Wellington.

**Qualifications**

**What you’ll bring to Z**
- This is a big role and it’s going to take a talented and experienced (10+ years) marketer, ideally with experience in retail or FMCG.
- You know brand strategy inside out. You’ve done everything before but you’re still open minded and excited about possibilities.
- You’re a great strategic thinker. You’re very comfortable using numbers and insights to decide the right path.
- A willingness and ability to work collaboratively across the business to bring your strategies to life. You’ll be a consummate influencer with an ability to make things happen.
- There’s a lot going on at Z - you’ll need to be very experienced with campaign and BAU marketing, experience with loyalty, direct, B2B marketing and digital products an advantage
- Strong, proven people management ability with alignment to the Z values (we strongly encourage you to read **Our Why**, it’s really important to us).

And of course, you’ll be passionate about what matters to Z, embracing and living our values to help us deliver on our aspirations and broader commitment to Aotearoa New Zealand.
