Factory Assembly Labourer

Twenty years as a NZ business, our client supplies quality single and double glazed joinery to builders and the construction industry. They have built a successful track record both at a national and regional level.
Multiple roles exist for those looking at learning a new trade, or for those people wanting to expand their career.
The Role:
- You will be responsible for learning how to fabricate quality aluminum joinery and will be assisting with all aspects of the fabrication and factory processes.
Your Responsibilities will also involve:
- Cutting, machining, assembly, fixing liners, fixing hardware and glazing.
- General Labouring
- Checking and maintaining of equipment and tools
- Setting up and maintaining a tidy and productive work area
- Follow Job Sheets and work within time frame
- Assist with loading and unloading of products
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- A good understanding of numerical calculations - to enable accurate measurement
- An eye for detail - spotting inaccuracies and reporting them
- Good hand-eye coordination and practical aptitude
- A good level of work fitness as the role can be physically demanding
- Strong communication and people skills
Overall, we are looking for a team player, preferably resides locally for an immediate start, with a willingness to learn, whom enjoys a variety of tasks. Attitude is everything
