Are you ready to be part of something bigger? We are a unit with a significant system role, working across government to take collective action against family violence and sexual violence.

We steward the family violence and sexual violence system and drive realisation of the cross-agency strategy—Te Aorerekura. We work in partnership with communities across Aotearoa New Zealand, placing survivors, families, and whānau at the heart of everything we do.

**Te Haeata/The Opportunity**

Te Puna Aonui is looking for a human centred designer with initiative, design thinking skills, and excellent verbal and written communications abilities. In this role, you will translate insights from people's lived experience of family and sexual violence into tangible recommendations for change. You will support the Solutions Design Lead and Chief Advisor, Partnerships. The work will be busy and varied. Day-to-day, you will organise and plan projects, help facilitate meetings, contribute to research, analysis and synthesis, and create accessible and engaging final artefacts.

- You could be a graduate designer looking for a great role in which to grow, or already have human centred design experience and have a range of tools in your toolkit
- You've participated in design activities in a team setting
- Be a confident communicator who can clearly articulate ideas and guide others through the design process
- Able to proactively contribute to a positive team environment
- Be well organised, action oriented and a positive culture creator
- Ability to balance creativity with operational reality
- Have an inclusive, safe and collaborative style which creates space for diverse perspectives
- Being willing to roll your sleeves up to tackle challenges big and small and bring a curiosity to the work is most important.

**Utu ā-tau/**Salary**

The appointing salary for this role will be between $72,634 and $100,846 based on skills and experience.
