Fleet Serviceman

Bridgestone Tyre Centre Te Puke (TMAAC LTD) Is looking for a Fleet Serviceman to come and join our team in Te Puke. You need to live in Te Puke/Papamoa because of after hour call outs our cliental is the Te Puke district and if you lived out of the Te Puke/Papamoa district you are too far away to service our client in a timely manner with call outs.

We are a privately owned company who cares about our staff. We are a busy workshop, one stop shop with automotive servicing & repairs, WOFs, tyres retail and commercial. The role involves going out in the Te Puke District servicing our clients changing tyres.

**The role is as follows**:
Going to jobs by yourself that have been phoned in, this can be in a truck yard, on the side of the road, someones farm

You must be fully confident at Stripping and fitting of Truck, Forklift, Tractor, Motor bike and Agriculture tyres

You must be fully confident at Repairing punctures on Truck, Forklift, Tractor, Motor bike and Agriculture tyres

Servicing Truck yards, checking all pressures and doing whatever is required on each truck at the time, that maybe more air needed, rotation of tyres, puncture, replacing tyre with a new one. Knowing what needs doing by assessing the truck,

Fill in job cards correctly with all information required to charge out the job

Knowing the product, Retreads, new tyres, tread patterns, sizes

Going on a roster for afterhours work/ weekend work and call outs

Following Health and safety at all times

Maintaining your truck checking tyres / pressures / keeping clean, checking oil water levels, filling with diesel,

Communication with the team, and customer The hours are Mon
- Fri 8am 5pm (42.5hrs minimum a week). You will go onto a rooster to be on call for seven days straight when it is your rostered week on. On your rooster week on you will also work Sat & Sun hours will depend on work that needs to be done down so vary. Plus a late night of a few hours on Wednesday night checking and servicing a truck yard. A full Class 1 Drivers License is required. Experience previously is Hourly rate is $27.76 for an experienced Fleet Serviceman that has been in the industry for sometime.
