**The Opportunity**

At Gallagher Security, our Senior Software Engineers (Front End) are key drivers in creating world-class user experiences for our SMB platform, used by customers across the globe.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Leading collaboration with the UX team to define product scope and design solutions through techniques such as design sprints, prototypes, and user story mapping
- Developing and delivering high-quality front-end software components using modern web frameworks, including ReactJS and Redux
- Reviewing and providing feedback on peers’ code, promoting best practices and coding standards across the team
- Supporting existing products through technical troubleshooting, debugging, and quality assurance
- Mentoring junior and intermediate developers, sharing knowledge, and contributing to team growth
- Staying up to date with emerging technologies and front-end development trends to continuously improve team capability

**About You**

You’re a hands-on front-end engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating in an agile environment, and delivering high-quality user experiences. You take pride in clean, secure code and in seeing your work used by real-world customers.

You’ll bring:

- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience
- Strong proficiency in front-end web development backed by a Cloud-hosted microservice architecture, including ReactJS, Redux, HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
- Proficiency with version control, debugging tools, and agile development practices
- Demonstrated experience mentoring and enabling other team members
- A preference for working and delivering in an Agile, customer-focused, outcome-driven, collaborative environment
