Join us as Service Specialist for the Motion Business Area where you will be providing professional, timely and high quality first line technical service and product support for ABB Motion Service as part of the delivery of service products to customers, in line with the MOSE Policies and Procedures. Reporting to Service Manager and this position will be based in Christchurch; New Zealand.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Supporting the Sales Manager to identify and promote new service sales offerings and arranging meeting with customers on regular basis and discussing service sales opportunities
- Completing job reports on time with accurate records of equipment details, service activity results, following up recommendations and factory updates
- Maintaining service and product database to ensure details are kept accurate, enter details from site audits
- Interfacing with factory support teams for product updates and technical releases
- Attending expert days, product training and technical forums and fulfilling customer site inductions and safety requirements
- Carrying out training and assessment to align with ABB Way Safety and Compliance certification

**Your background**:

- NZ Electrical Practicing License and tertiary certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant field
- Experience in industrial and marine electrical systems and maintenance
- Experience with power electronics, power converters, automation and industrial controls
- Ability to research and articulate technical documents and electrical schematics
