**About the role**
As the Operations Supervisor you are responsible for managing and leading customer service across the yard and bulkstores for CARTERS East Tamaki. You will work alongside Despatch and the Trade Sales Manager to provide high quality communication, coordination, picking and delivery of customer orders. You will be responsible for coordinating, supervising and assigning work for the yard team, ensuring branch sales targets are achieved and customer loyalty maintained.

With your experience in process implementation and improvement you will ensure the smooth operations of the timber yard and deliveries, ensuring stock maintenance, order pulling and customer service levels are maintained to a high level.

**Skills & Experience**
As well as having a high level of energy and proactive attitude you will also possess the following qualities:

- Leadership experience with an ability to motivate a team through a postive team culture
- Branch operations/logistics/distribution experience desirable
- Strong ability to identify and problem solve root causes to issues
- Building industry knowledge would be a bonus
- Eye for detail coupled with excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of computer systems & basic operating skills
- F-Endorsement, fork hoist experience would be a bonus not essential
