About the role
Once known as the Postie, you are the face of NZ Post out on the street interacting with our customers. You'll start your day sorting parcels and mail from our Railway Ave Depot, then go it alone (in a Paxster e-vehicle) on your delivery route, regardless of the weather. Rain, hail or shine - you need to be hardy You'll interact with our customers, giving them a positive experience each time. This role would suit someone who can work independently and take control of their own deadlines to get the job done.
Some of the key things you'll possess to successfully perform this role include:
- The availability to work 6 days a week on a 4 day, 3 week rotating roster, from early morning to late afternoon
- Minimum of restricted NZ Driver's License
- Proven face to face customer service experience
- Great coordination, dexterity and sensory skills
- And a natural ability to communicate with your team mates and customers to develop trust and understanding
